This is me

I decided that I wanted to be a tour guide when I was ten years old, when my family and I visited the Hluboká Castle in South Bohemia. Back then, the main reason was the fact that the guide had a costume and looked like a princess from a fairy tale. But eventually I found out that a beautiful costume is not the only thing that interests me about this job. 

I started studying history and during that time I guided visitors every summer at a different South Bohemian castle and chateau. And it was these years that I found in retrospect, after a career in HR and education, to be the most enjoyable and fulfilling. I enjoyed combining a field I was very interested in studying and meeting people from different countries. 

Thanks to that I can pass on some of my knowledge to other people, or just engage them with a story from a time that is long gone, but still has reminders all around. Prague is full of them - whether you go to places that are notorious from photos and books or just walk around. And that is why I'd like you to walk through Prague with me and discover together that it is a true jewel of Europe.
